Want to get paid to help reduce carbon emissions, and have fun doing it? Australia’s leading commercial renewable energy company, Smart Commercial Solar, is seeking a motivated, energetic self-starter to support its busy Marketing and People & Culture teams at their North Sydney office.
As Marketing & HR Coordinator, you will play a vital role in our marketing and HR efforts by managing organic social media, assisting with copywriting across channels, helping to implement email campaigns, supporting training and events and maintaining our website. You will also help with policy administration, database upkeep and internal growth and development programs. You will report to the Head of Marketing and Head of People & Culture jointly and receive ongoing training and support to grow in your role.

Responsibilities
The Marketing & HR Coordinator’s responsibilities will vary depending on the strategic focus of the team, but typically include:
- Researching and writing short-form copy (e.g. captions for social media posts, YouTube video descriptions, carousel content) and long-form copy (e.g. case studies, blogs, articles, guides).
- Helping to plan, book and organise internal and external events including training sessions, conferences, trade shows, webinars and celebrations.
- Managing our LinkedIn page including helping to create and schedule content and community management.
- Supporting the marketing team in updating and maintaining the HubSpot properties (i.e. the website and CRM), including product uploads, copy updates, file management and landing pages, and maintaining database.
- Producing or updating HR and sales documents, typically using PowerPoint, Canva and Word.
- General marketing and HR administration work as required by management.
- Managing print production of physical marketing collateral such as flyers and banners.
- Support marketing activities for sub-brands within the company, including content creation, social media, campaigns and day-to-day marketing tasks.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential
-
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing and/or HR - a Bachelor of Commerce in which you've studied both is ideal.
- Good understanding of social media marketing platforms and strategy, especially LinkedIn.
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite especially PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook.
Highly Valued

- Some experience in a junior marketing or other administrative role (for e.g. an internship).
- Event planning experience.
- HubSpot CRM experience.
- Web development experience.
- Familiarity with Adobe.
